GenAI: What’s happening in APAC
Jan Wupperman, Chief Digital Officer, NTT Data

What’s GenAI promising, and how’s it playing out in the Asia Pacific region? For a spirited discussion on one of the most significant trends in Finance (and business in general), the Global CFO Network is delighted to be joined by NTT Data’s Chief Digital Officer Jan Wupperman. Yan will discuss the successes business are having deploying autonomous agents and agent orchestration to run Finance processes, and will explore the implications for governance, with a particular focus on the Asia Pacific region. With India and Australia particularly advanced, what lessons can other countries draw? Jan has more than 20 years’ experience leading technology transformations across Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East/North Africa, and brings to the discussion a deep understanding of the needs of the Finance function.

Sleep deficit: the performance killer
Dr Nicola Cann, leading sleep psychologist

Ernest Hemingway once said “I love sleep. My life tends to fall apart when I’m awake, you know”. Everyone knows we need to sleep, but few actually appreciate how important sleep really is. For centuries we have assumed that your sleeping mind is dormant and that your time in bed has no real impact on your life. More recently, the scientific study of sleep has revealed that nothing could be further from the truth. Studies show poor quality sleep reduces decision-making abilities, with 17 hours of wakefulness the equivalent of a blood-alcohol level of 0.05. In this session we will meet Dr Nicola Cann, a qualified psychologist who specialises in treating patients with poor sleep patterns. Nicola was worked in Asia, the UK and New Zealand, and works extensively with senior executives.
