Lieutenant Colonel James Greaves, Commanding Officer, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, British Army.
(live video video from London)

If the COVID-19 crisis has taught us anything, it’s that real leaders come into their own under pressure. This facilitated workshop is designed to help you explore your leadership characteristics, and look at how you can grow under difficult circumstances, even if you’re not leading a team right now. We’ll be joined in the discussion live via video by Brigadier Andy Wright, Deputy Commander of the British Army’s London District, which takes in the famed Household Division regiments. A former Commanding Officer of 1PARA, Andy has extensive experience leading under pressure. Lieutenant Colonel James Greaves is Commanding Officer, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, the most senior of the Household Division regiments. He has served in Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as staff appointments with British and US forces. In this workshop, we’ll explore what Andy and James have learned about leadership, and then take that further through group discussions and project work to better understand how we can apply it in our businesses.

Members may attend with a member of their Finance team. This event will conclude with afternoon tea and light refreshments.
